I got a great job offer and when I plan my start date with my new employer I also make sure to take a week for myself.  This gave Jimmy and I the perfect opportunity to take another one of our epic road trips.  This one was ambitious, almost a little too ambitious.  We drove through 11 states in 8 days.  I had already been to 6 of these but I got to add 5 new states to my list.

We flew into Memphis and then headed straight to Louisville, KY.  We spent the night and then went sightseeing in the morning.  We repeated the journey (spend the night, sightsee the next day or vice versa) each day stopping along the way in Indianapolis, Cincinnati, where we met friends from my 2015 European Tour who live in the area.  Cincinnati also became one of my instant favorites.  Art is everywhere and it’s right by the water, I loved it so.  I can’t wait to visit again.  We trekked on to Charlotte, then Hilton Head.  Hilton Head was fabulous.  We celebrated Jimmy’s birthday here and soaked up the beaches.  I added this also to my list of favorites.  After Hilton Head, I’d visited all the new states to add to my list so we breezed through and visiting Savannah, Jacksonville.  We then headed to Biloxi where we got to really relax, spending a few days there seeing friends and family before heading back to Memphis for he flight home.
