I took at trip to Las Vegas, a place I’ve been a bunch of times so no need to document, to visit my cousin.  I’m mulling over making a change in my life and thought I might want to move there.  We didn’t do any of the touristy things so it was fun to just stay in a city that lively only doing regular things.

All the other times I’ve been I never thought to venture out and explore.  I’m really at a loss why I never did since things are so close but hindsight is 20/20.  This visit I told her I was going to take a day trip to Utah and she agreed to go with me.

I booked us a National Park Express coach tour to Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy.  We drove to Treasure Island and the coach picked us up at 6am.  Our driver was also our tour guide and we made stops every 1-2 hours for breaks, photo ops, lunch, hiking and shopping.  The tour was planned for 13 hours but there was a long line to get in Zion as this was Memorial Day weekend and it seemed everyone was back to vacationing now that vaccines are the norm.  We got back to our pickup spot after 14 1/2 hours.  It was a long day but thoroughly enjoyable and I added the 27th state to my list.
