Hi, I’m Aleta.  Wanderlust is real. My ultimate travel goal is to visit all 50 US states and the seven widely recognized continents.  The thrill of stepping into a world so different or as it turns out frequently not so different from my own is the best feeling in the world.  The inspiration for my goal came to me as I was planning my then dream vacation.  The thought of going on this fabulous trip, spurred the need to add more and more places to my bucket list.  It eventually ended up being that I just want to see it all.  I love lists and organization so I started mapping and charting my adventures and checking places off.  I hope to have stepped foot in the 50th state in 2025 and the seventh continent by 2026.

I am a California gal through and through.  I was born and raised in Southern California and I currently live in the Northern California Bay Area.  My family has always traveled but mostly just to visit family in other states.  I was well into adulthood when I discovered the joy of traveling for pleasure.  It changed my life.  I will rearrange anything to go on a trip.

I can tell the instant I arrive at a new place if I'm going to like it.  My instant favorites were Paris, Stockholm, New Orleans and Biloxi.  I visit these over and over again in between my other travels.

Outside of travel my other major passion is being creative.  I love art, architecture, interior design, color, and anything crafty.  I'm a DIY gal so I'm always working on a project, using completing to about 90%.  It's hit or miss if I ever get to 100% done. 

I make my living as a finance professional and consultant and I also dabble in graphic design.  I use any extra $ to buy pretty things and travel.
