I made it back. It had been six years since I last visited Paris. A lot of life – good and bad – happened in those six years. My bestie and her granddaughter came with me, their first time in Paris and we had a ball! We did all the touristy things and then just walked around exploring the city. It was a full week of activities including the Black Paris Tour (my second time), Eiffel Tower, Arc du Triomphe, Montparnasse, Montmartre, Disney (not my idea and I only stayed a couple of hours to eat and buy souvenirs), Versailles with lunch at Angelina, A food tour in the Marais, and The Pyramid. Unfortunately our Louvre tickets got cancelled :-), so next time! My favorite part has and will always be just strolling through the city. This trip on our last day, we split up and I walked from Place du Concorde to the Louvre, down Rue de Rivoli, ending up at Hotel de Ville. It was glorious. We are already planning our return visit.
